How Facebook's new changes will harm your social media activity

Facebook have rolled out a variety of tweaks and changes in the last week - with newly announced subscriptions now available so users can have asymmetric relationships with each other, and new Facebook Lists, which are thought to be a direct response to the 'circles' feature in Google+.

An introduction to gamification, its benefits and limitations

Our very own Alex Wilson has written up an introduction to the new buzzword, 'gamification'. Alex looks into what gamification is, whether it is simply a fad that will fade away, and how gamified marketing efforts have worked so far. Featuring examples from Buffalo Wild Wings, DevHub, DailyFeats.com and more, it's worth a read. See the whole piece here.

A case study on the UK's best airport for Twitter engagement

Another piece of great content from the guys at Simply Zesty. This time it's a study of Twitter engagement best practice. The team have put together a ranking system to investigate the best engagement from all UK airports. Read on to find out which KPIs they have used to judge, why social media is particularly important for airports - and who the winner is!

That's all this week folks, see you next time,

Nick
